Osprey Spearguns is an Online Spearfishing Goods Store born and bred in Cape Tribulation, Far North Queensland. All of our guns are hand built using local and responsibly sourced timbers from the amazing Daintree region of Far North Qld. All of the timbers we use in our guns are chosen due to their specific characteristics including water resistance, density and straightness of the grain. Each of these characteristics can alter the performance of your speargun making the choice of timber used integral to creating a quality product.
Through the years we have researched and practiced the awesome art of timber speargun construction. We are constantly trying to improve and expand our knowledge on an ever-growing sport.
We only use the finest quality components and rigorously test our guns on the Great barrier reef to ensure our customers only receive the best. Over many years of spearfishing in Far North QLD and beyond, we have had the opportunity to test many brands and models of speargun parts such as trigger mechanisms and shafts. We always choose the best fit for our guns dependant on what style of spearfishing they are suited to, being anything from stealthy, up close and personal shallow water hunting to chasing that dream giant Dogtooth in the deep blue water.
We are constantly testing and developing new ideas so check back regularly to see the latest. If you are looking for something custom, or have a few ideas, get in contact with us today.
